Prior to joining Strasbourg, David Weir served as the technical director of Brighton Club until September last year. During his tenure, he contributed to the establishment of an efficient organizational structure.

David Weir represented Scotland 69 times as a player and played more than 600 games in his career. He played for teams such as Everton and Glasgow Rangers. He had an outstanding playing career before retiring, and then successfully transitioned into the field of sports management.
