November 11th Recently, Manchester United reporter Ralston talked about Tottenham's stadium. He said that Manchester United's future new stadium can be constructed with reference to the structure of Tottenham's stadium.

Ralston wrote: Coming out of White Hart Lane, what comes into view is the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium standing among the towering apartment buildings. The stadium's glass facade and streamlined design immediately attract people's attention, as if a spaceship from a distant galaxy has landed in North London, and people can't wait to take a look.

Last weekend, Manchester United visited this stadium, and I was honored to be there for the first time. We've long heard that this is one of the best courses in the country, and it certainly lives up to its reputation. Although security spent some time checking at the entrance to the media reception area, the wait was well worth it and the media facilities and catering services here are second to none in the Premier League.

The media meal at Stamford Bridge is already excellent, but Tottenham's is even better. Since the game started at 12:30pm, a hearty breakfast was served and the selection in the media room was plentiful.

The media room itself is like the lobby of a luxury hotel, with plenty of work space, comfortable leather chairs, and lockers for reporters to store their belongings. The way from the media room to the press box is well signposted, otherwise it's easy to get lost, and the inside of the stadium is even more impressive than the outside.

Tottenham left the old White Hart Lane in 2016 and moved into this new 61,000-seat stadium in 2019 after spending nearly three seasons at Wembley. Sir Ratcliffe hopes to build a new and old Trafford stadium with a capacity of 100,000 people by 2030. Tottenham's new stadium can provide some reference.

The design of this stadium is very good, and the entire visit makes people feel like they are in a special arena. Architectural design firm Populous gets all the praise for this one.

From a reporter's perspective, the media box is spacious and well-located, providing a good view, while the press conference room is an excellent venue for coaches to conduct post-game activities. Ratcliffe wants the old and new Trafford, designed by Foster + Partners, to be the best arena in the world, and if the redevelopment works like Tottenham's home ground, they will achieve that goal.

Tottenham's new stadium is only 170 yards from the old White Hart Lane, which means that the feeling of the old stadium has not completely disappeared. The new Old Trafford will also strive to retain this "feel". Tottenham Hotspur Stadium has been designed to maximize the fan experience and bring fans closer to the pitch. The distance from the front row to the touchline varies from 4.9 meters to 7.9 meters, and the single-tier South Stand is the largest stand in the UK, with a capacity of 17,500 people.

The steep South Stand is striking and was designed to create an intimidating atmosphere, but did not have the desired effect during Saturday's match. Like many of the big Premier League clubs, Spurs have become a tourist attraction, so there are a lot of tourist spectators in the South Stand who don't contribute to the atmosphere. While these "visitor fans" remain valuable fans, local Spurs season ticket holders believe the South Stand should be reserved exclusively for those who wish to make noise.

At present, the Stretford Stand at Old Trafford is such an area. Manchester United should consider setting up a dedicated singing area when building a new stadium to ensure that a warm atmosphere can be created.

I was fortunate enough to visit the old White Hart Lane before it was demolished. It was an old stadium. Tottenham's move to the new stadium was the right choice, but the old stadium was indeed a deterrent to visiting teams. Rather than being intimidating, Tottenham Hotspur Stadium feels welcoming, and United need to make sure they don't fall into the same trap when building their new stadium.
