G League MVP Davidson signed a 1-year two-way contract with the Rockets. This is its last season of two-way signing

July 27th NBA official player mobility records show that the Rockets and guard JD Davidson and small forward Isaiah Crawford signed a two-way contract.

According to Spotac salary expert Keith Smith, JD-Davidson signed a one-year two-way contract with the Rockets, the last season he could sign a two-way contract. According to the labor agreement, players who have been fighting in the league for at least four years cannot sign two-way contracts, and the new season will be Davidson's fourth season.

JD-Davidson is 22 years old and is the No. 53 pick in 2022. He has played for the Celtics (and its subordinate team Maine Celtics, and has won the G League MVP) in the past three years. Last season, JD Davidson played 16 regular season games for the Celtics, averaging 5.8 minutes per game and scored 2.1 points.

In the G League, JD Davidson averaged 25.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, 7.9 assists and 1.5 steals in the regular season last season, winning the MVP; in the playoffs (3 games), JD Davidson averaged 34.7 points, 3.3 rebounds, 13.3 assists, 2 steals and 1 block.
