Ancelotti: Neymar needs to prepare for next year s World Cup, he is our important player

June 27th Brazilian national team coach Ancelotti said that Neymar must be fully prepared for next year's World Cup.
Neymar renewed his contract with Santos until the end of this year on Tuesday, and Ancelotti hopes he can prepare for the World Cup. Ancelotti said: "Nemar must be fully prepared and he still has time to do it. He is a very important player for us in the 2026 World Cup."
Neymar is the best scorer in the history of the Brazilian national team (79 goals), but recently due to injuries, Neymar has not made many appearances and has only played 12 games in the five months after returning to Santos. In the World Cup qualifiers earlier this month, Neymar was not selected for the first Brazilian national team squad since Ancelotti took office.
