Recently, the first stop of the 2025 National Youth Kayaking U Series League was successfully concluded in Taishun Feiyunhu, Zhejiang. Chen Xianga, a 9-year-old girl from Chengdu who is known as the "genius girl", was once again amazed, winning three championships of the U12 women's marine boats of 200 meters, 500 meters and 1000 meters, recreating the legend created last year.

This third-grade primary school student from the Foreign Language School of Yandao Street Middle School in Chengdu won the U9 Women's Annual Championship as a dark horse last year. After entering the U12 category due to rules this season, she needs to face a 12-year-old player who is one head taller than her. For her, it is almost impossible to complete the task.

It is understood that the U Series League is a top-level event of the Chinese Youth Kayaking Project sponsored by the Water Sports Management Center of the General Administration of Sports and the China Kayaking Association, and is part of the National Olympic Games glory project.

This event attracted more than 200 players from 33 professional teams and clubs to participate. In the U12 group with strong players, Chen Xiangai withstood the pressure, calmly responded, and set out the best level in normal training. The 200-meter championship score was nearly 2 seconds faster than the second place, which is an absolute leading advantage in short-distance events.

According to Chen Xiangai's mother, in order to balance academic and training, the teachers of the young champion selflessly used their rest time to make up for the courses that were missing due to training, and also specially made review materials for her.

U9 players can win three championships in the U12, which is rare in league history. Chen Xiangai shows not only talent, but also a willful quality that exceeds age. With the first stop, the next goal of the small champion has been locked in the Ma'anshan Station in June.
