Fletcher is expected to coach Manchester United s U18 youth team

According to multiple British media, the Premier League Manchester United club is negotiating with former Scottish midfielder Fletcher, hoping that the latter will serve as the team's U18 youth team head coach. Fletcher, 41, has played for Manchester United for many years and returned to Manchester United to coach the U16 youth team after retirement. In 2021, he became a member of the first team coaching team and later served as Manchester United's technical director until he was replaced in April last year. Since his twin sons Taylor and Jack are both Manchester United youth training players, Fletcher was unwilling to work in the youth training echelon before, but his two sons have now left the U18 age group.
