Hamsik: I have been loyal to Naples for 12 years, and their winnings have made me feel no more regretful

May 28th, the farewell match organized by Hamsik will be held at the Tekhne Stadium in Bratislava. Yesterday, the former Naples captain attended the press conference for the farewell match.

About the farewell match

"This game will be a party: I want all my national teammates, Napoli teammates, and other clubs I have played for. But it is impossible for everyone to come, otherwise I will have to form 6 teams, but this will be a Slovak vs. World United game."

For participants Hamsik, "There will be Mertens, Callejon, Ravic, Cavani. Tonight I will meet Inle, Dermayili, Behrami, Cannavaro, Montevino, Reina, Albior and many of my national teammates, Scotter, Lobotka, Skriniar, my brother-in-law Walter Gargano."

How to summarize your career?

"I realized my dream. I have worn football shoes since I was a child. I think this is my destiny. In the end, this dream came true."

What kind of player is Hamsik?

"A player who has realized his dream, he has played an important role in Naples, and I am proud of this experience, although we have not won a league championship."

Started a coaching career

"I have been in youth training for two years, I have discovered new love, I am very happy and lucky to be a member of the coaching staff of the Slovak national team."

Regrets about not winning the Serie A championship

"I feel a little regretful, but in the end Naples won the league championship, and I have no regrets. I realize my dream, I enjoy the love of this city and the fans, I have been loyal to this jersey for 12 years, and it has become a part of my life. I am very satisfied that we are the team that won the first trophy after Maradona."

Will we return to work in Naples in the future?

"I talked to the President last year and the door has been open to me. Now I am in Slovakia to accompany my children, but I am willing to be a member of a club like Naples."
