No one denies Messi s greatness, but the "Mei Blowers" should learn to be humble

In today's football world, no one can hide Messi's dazzling brilliance in terms of exquisite football skills and honors. He is like a diamond, using football as the stage, reflecting the highest height of human athletic talent. However, when some of the fanatical hymns of "Plum Blossoms" become more and more high-pitched, they gradually deviate from the original intention of pure appreciation and eventually turn the altar into an embarrassing and dangerous building.

Some "Plum Blowers" are immersed in creating miracles. They waved the banner of "the first person in history", as if this has become a foregone conclusion and regard all doubts as blasphemy. What's more, they often belittle the soccer monuments such as Maradona and Pele, and even label contemporary superstars such as Cristiano Ronaldo as "system player". This praise of using others as stepping stones and derogatory as ladders is like cooking oil for fire - the surface is noisy, but actually burns the diverse and rich beauty of football itself.

The football world is rich due to its different styles. Bailey's gushing power like a volcano, Maradona's magical dribbling, Cruyff's wisdom of running like precision machinery, Ronaldo's sharp impact like a blade... Each extreme builds a pillar of the football palace. When "Mei Chu" insisted on regarding Messi as the only criterion and denounced the rest as dust, they were actually forcibly compressing the football universe into a cold stone statue hanging in the air. This narrow fanaticism not only failed to strengthen Messi's glory, but also quietly thinned his truly great foundation.

How can true respect be based on contempt for others' achievements? When the "Mei Blowers" tried to put on a golden jade suit for Messi with "perfection", they did not know that the gorgeous package would cover Messi's real, difficult and moving footprints on the journey of time, as a flesh-and-blood footballer. Real greatness does it need to be piled up by belittle others? When the praise becomes an unquestionable declaration of exclusivity, the most valuable things in the football world—the fierce competition, the collision of styles, and the mutual reflection of geniuses of different eras—are roughly folded.

True love is deep and humble. It does not need to create opposition to prove itself, nor does it have to obscure the glory of the stars in the name of deification. The world has long offered the most sincere respect to Messi's unparalleled skills and achievements; but this respect should not and cannot be a reason to exclude other great things.

The beauty of football lies in its vastness as the sky, accommodates countless stars shining on their own. Only by safely putting Messi's brilliant star back into the deep night sky can we truly understand the extraordinary significance of its light.
