Otamendi rejects the invitation from the Achaean team, Chairman Sasfield: He doesn t want to come back yet

June 8th, Otamendi and Benfica's contract is about to expire, but the Sasfield president revealed that Otamendi rejected Sasfield's invitation.
The 37-year-old Otamendi is from Saasfield youth training. He transferred from Manchester City to Benfica in 2020 and has played for it. Otamendi has made 50 appearances this season, scoring 7 goals and assisting 4 times, and is still in good shape, but his contract expires this summer.
Previously, Argentine Premier League team Saasfield invited Otamendi to return to his old master, but Otamendi refused. Saasfield club president Fabian Belanga said: "We think Otamendi is older and is ready to return to Saasfield. But he doesn't want to come back yet."
