May 23 Post reported that Newcastle senior executives are continuing to advance their work through official channels to prepare for the future of the club's new stadium. The club decided to make sure that all details were arranged before the public announcement, rather than rashly posting the news before finding that the plan was not feasible.

In March this year, it was reported that Newcastle intends to build the new stadium in Lezes Park and showed the club owners the design video of the stadium, proposing that its capacity is 65,000 people. Although Newcastle can announce this vision ahead of schedule as Manchester United announced the "New Trafford" design, there are still work at the local and national levels that need to be completed. Less Park rental issues are one of them.

However, we learned some extra details about the new stadium. The new stadium is said to be 35 meters above the St James Park stadium stack to maintain its visibility in the city. St James Park is known for its unique location, standing above the city center, visible from all directions, and the club hopes to retain that feature. In addition, the club is said to have been working with a company monitoring the atmosphere of the stadium this season, with the aim of ensuring the sound effects in the new stadium. They learned lessons from poor atmosphere at stadiums such as West Ham United London Stadium and were committed to retaining and enhancing the "St James Roar" in their new home court. Construction company LaingO’Rourke is one of the partners in the project.
