28-year-old Bernardo Toppa celebrated the Portuguese Sports victory with friends in the Saldania district. As a result, Bernardo was unfortunately hit by a stray bullet in the left eye, resulting in complete blindness.

According to the Records, Bernardo has undergone surgery at a hospital in Lisbon and continues to be hospitalized. He has filed a lawsuit against the Portuguese Public Safety Police (PSP) and the Portuguese government, accusing him of negligence.
