May 17 According to the Spanish media Assas, the Madrid Procuratorate demanded that four members of the Atletico Madrid extremist fan organization "Frontline Atletico Madrid" be sentenced to four years in prison. The four were accused of hanging inflatable dolls on the Madrid highway bridge in January 2023. The act was against Real Madrid player Vinicius's personal dignity, clearly showing contempt and rejection of his skin color.

The case will be heard in the Madrid Provincial Court next Monday local time. Prosecutors charged the defendant with allegedly guilty of the type of crime against personal dignity in the crime of "endangering fundamental rights and public freedoms", and another threatening crime.

At the same time, the prosecution asked the defendant to pay 6,000 euros of civil liability compensation for the mental damage he caused to the player. According to the indictment, all four young people belong to an extremist fan organization known as "Atletic Frontline" which has "has a clear ideological connection with far-right forces."

Specifically, in the early morning of January 25-26, 2023, before the start of the Cup Cup between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, originally scheduled to be held at the Bernabeu Stadium at 21:00 that night, the defendant headed to a bridge on the M-11 motorway near Real Madrid Sports City. After arriving, they hung an inflatable doll about 165 cm tall with black skin and hair characteristics on ropes. The doll is wearing a Real Madrid jersey, with the name of player Vinicius and his jersey number printed on the back, and the stones are fixed as heavy objects with insulating tape at the ankles.

In addition, the defendant hung a red cloth banner on the bridge, with the slogan "Madrid hated Real Madrid" written in white pigment. The banner is 12.90 meters long and 1.70 meters wide.

Then, an account named Á.B.R., "Demonstrate the position and rationalize the legitimacy of the four defendants' coordinated action", released the first bridge photo immediately after the incident through the social media account it operated. The image of hanging banners and dolls is clearly presented in the photo, and the post finally received 18,000 clicks.

This tweet quickly became popular and gained widespread attention with the help of the communication effect of social media, and even traditional media reported on it. The judge pointed out that this behavior "further intensified the infringement of the rights and interests protected by law, specifically manifested as damage to personal dignity", and in this case targeted both specific victims and the groups they represented.

Similarly, the defendant posted a second photo. The picture shows an inflatable figure in the preparation phase, with a Real Madrid player jersey placed next to it, and the tag #We all support for Vinicius (#TodosSomosVini) was added, further exacerbating the derogatory nature of the parties, because "the tag should have been used to support the victims and condemn the actions carried out."
