Draw Rules

To determine these 8 different opponents, each team will be assigned to four levels according to the club coefficient. During the league stage, each team cannot confront teams in the same association (i.e. "Same Country Avoid"), and at most they can be drawn two teams in the same association.

Draw process

Draw will start from the first team,

UEFA said that the software will ensure complete randomness within the prescribed lottery principles, while ensuring that the lottery of all teams can be completed smoothly. At the end of the draw, all teams will know their 8 opponents, but the specific schedule, match date and kick-off time will be formulated later and announced on August 31 to ensure there is no conflict with the Champions League and UEFA League schedule.
