Bailey: I don t know that the jazz is interested in me

The 2025 NBA Draft was officially held at the Barclays Center Arena. Popular rookie Ace Bailey finally dropped to the fifth pick for refusing to tryout and was selected by the Jazz.

Previously, according to ESPN draft expert Jonathan Givony, Pele refused to try out for any team, and he would rather join a team that would make himself the core starting choice. In the 2024-25 season, Ace Bailey played 30 games for Rutgers University, averaging 33.3 minutes per game, scoring 17.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 1.3 assists, 1.0 steals, 1.3 blocks and 2.0 turnovers, with a shooting percentage of 46.0%, a three-point shooting percentage of 34.6%, and a free throw shooting percentage of 69.2%.
