Clay posted a photo with Love: We are still here 20 years later, it s crazy

Mavericks star Klay Thompson updated social media today and posted two photos with Love, one of which was a photo of them when they were young. Clay wrote: "We are still here 20 years later, which is crazy."

Clay Thompson and Love's father are both former NBA players. Both grew up in the Oswego Lake District, Oregon. Although they are two years apart, they met each other and established a deep friendship. It is worth mentioning that the two were actually teammates of the baseball team at the beginning. They won the state championship in middle school, and then moved to basketball.

They entered the NBA one after another. In the summer of 2014, the Warriors tried to send out the deal between Klay Thompson and David Lee and the Timberwolves in exchange for Love, but was strongly opposed by Jerry West and had to give up. Love was eventually traded to the Cavaliers. In the following four years, the Cavaliers and Warriors met on the finals stage every year.

Last season, Klay Thompson averaged 14 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2 assists per game, with a three-point shooting percentage of 39.1%. Love averaged 5.3 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1 assist per game, with a three-point shooting percentage of 35.8%.
