June 14th News Recently, Kings defender Demar DeRozan talked about his self-discipline habit of maintaining his career length while participating in the podcast program "The Timeout".

DeRozan said: "It takes a year-round effort. For me, it means making sacrifices. I don't go out, don't drink, I've never drunk in my life - I'm not saying there's anything wrong with drinking, but I never drink. Not at all. I've always looked at this from this perspective: My goal is to play basketball as long as possible. When I got into the league, I often laughed at the veterans, 'Hey, why do you have ice packs?' They told me, 'Trust me, you'd better start ice packs before you need it.' So I thought, ' OK, don't care! I'd better apply an ice bag, there's no pain anyway.' Later, the ice bag became a habit of me and became something I had to do. It made me think about what I can do to continue what I do? For example, eating a healthy diet, taking care of myself, and sleeping. I just try to continue it through every way. I think the psychological challenge for me is to see that many people around me don't pay enough attention to the game. In the past, everything had to be fought for. On the court, you have to win everything through hard work."
