September 26th News Recently, famous speaker Tim Legler talked about the Rockets point guard position in the podcast ALLNBAPodcast.

"When Van Jordan is injured, the Rockets will have high expectations for Shepard, but he will find it difficult to take on a big responsibility in the short term. The team may plan to let him play 12 to 15 minutes per game, and gradually adapt to the NBA game as a substitute point guard. Although in the long run, the team believes that he has the potential to become a starting point guard, he does not have such ability at the moment. The team can also solve this problem by adjusting the role of existing players, such as allowing Durant, Shin Kyung and others to undertake more offensive organization tasks." TimLegler said.

Shepard played 52 games during the regular season last season, averaging 12.6 minutes per game, contributing 4.4 points, 1.5 rebounds and 1.4 assists.
