Ranking of the lowest tickets for the 30-team home opener: New York overtakes the Lakers and Warriors to top the list, with the Grizzlies at the bottom with only $6

On October 22, the new NBA regular season will officially kick off today. American ticket media counted the lowest ticket prices for the home openers of 30 teams, with the Knicks ranking first at $233, followed closely by the Lakers and Warriors, and the Grizzlies at the bottom with only $6.

The Knicks ranked first among the 30 teams with the lowest ticket price of $233. As one of the NBA's top teams in terms of market capitalization, New York's basketball market can be called a "prime location." The superposition of Madison Square Garden's game viewing experience and the city's commercial value keeps its ticket prices at the top of the league. Even "entry-level" tickets are enough to demonstrate its scarcity and brand premium.

The Lakers ranked second with a ticket price of $176. The Lakers' market appeal has always been strong, and the popularity of tickets for the home opener remains high. The Warriors ($111), defending champion Thunder ($92), and Celtics ($80) are also in the “100-dollar club” or close to that threshold.

Teams with ticket prices in the $40 to $70 range make up the "hardcore." The Rockets ($40), Mavericks and Timberwolves (both $44), Kings ($45), Cavaliers ($46), Magic ($57), Nuggets ($64), Nets ($66), Heat ($67), and Raptors ($73) are all in this range.

The Grizzlies have become the "King of Value for Money" for the new season's home opener with the lowest ticket price of $6. They were followed by the Hornets ($12), Suns and Jazz (both $14). In addition, the most expensive home ticket for the Trail Blazers, where Chinese player Yang Hansen belongs, is US$27, ranking 22nd in the league.
