Redick asks players to stay in championship form? Reeves: We re here for this only thing

September 30th News Today, Lakers' New Season Media Day, Reeves accepted an interview with the media.

Reporter: Redick said last week that he asked everyone to return at the championship level, and he hopes you can have championship level communication. For you, what does it mean to meet that championship standard even before training camp begins? How do you think this sets the tone for the team?

Reeves: I think that's about setting the tone from day one, we're here for one thing, the only thing, and to do that, you have to be committed to paying whatever the necessary price. You can make a long list of what it takes to win a championship or reach the highest level, and you have to commit to doing these things. So, the coaching staff emphasizes anything we as players must, you know, respect it and do what we can to execute.
