Chet Homegren admitted that the team started "badly" in the Oklahoma City Thunder's big victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves in their debut game in the Western Conference Finals.

Oklahoma City Thunder led the Minnesota Timberwolves 1-0 in the opening game of the Western Conference Finals Tuesday night with a landslide of 114-88, leading the series 1-0 with tight defense and strong inside fire.

Sourth-grade big Chet Homgren played for 26 minutes, making 6 of 9 shots, scoring 15 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks and 1 steal. Despite the efficient data performance, Homegren candidly reflect on his performance after the game.

"I was so bad in the first half," Homegren told Joel Lorenzi of the Oklahoman. "The game won't reward you for this. I feel like I've increased my intensity, played harder, found more energy, and really played on the defensive end."

Homegren's strong performance in the fourth quarter, scoring 9 points, 3 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 blocks, helping the Thunder completely smash the opponent's counterattack attempt.

MVP candidate Shea Gilgers-Alexander contributed 31 points, 9 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 steals to Oklahoma City. His plus-negative value reached the team's highest +22 in 38 minutes of playing time.
