The Thunder now knows that the Denver Nuggets are waiting for them. Nuggets interim head coach David Adelman admitted the Thunder's strength.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are now waiting for the Denver Nuggets to arrive. Denver defeated the Los Angeles Clippers with an explosive score in the second half and ended up defeating his opponent 120-101 on Saturday. David Adelman himself also acknowledged the NBA playoff prospects.

Adelman took over the Nuggets on April 10 and is currently the top seed in the Western Conference. He even revealed through veteran NBA insider Michael Scotto that the Thunder's record is far better than 68 wins and 14 losses.

"They are the best team in the NBA this season. I feel bad about having a good friend. I said if we win this series, we have to play a team that is 68-14. He said, no, they are 72-14. I said, yes. Thank you, brother," Adelman joked. He also added that while the seven-game series win is memorable, “we don’t have time to recall it.” Looking forward to the Thunder against the Nuggets, David Adelman leads Denver

, now, national media believes that Adelman has officially coached the Denver Nuggets.

"I would be shocked if David Adelman didn't coach the Clippers full-time... The series he coached was absolutely brilliant... He took every step just right..." The Athletic's Tony Jones wrote.

Denver defeated Los Angeles with a 15-0 climax. Jamal Murray witnessed this extremely aggressive offensive. Murray said Denver's plan is to make a quick attack and then force Los Angeles to call timeouts multiple times. The Clippers even saw Russell Westbrook finish a wonderful dunk in front of his old club.

Aaron Gordon led the game with 22 points. Christian Braun contributed 21 points. Murray, Westbrook and Nikola Jokic each scored 16 points. Denver even limited James Harden's scoring, limiting him to less than 7 points.

But Adelman and his team face the biggest test again at the Paycom Center. The Thunder have three players who averaged more than 18.5 points in the series against Memphis. Shay Gilgers-Alexander led the game with an average of 27.8 points per game. Forwards Jaylen Williams and Chet Homgren averaging more than 23.3 points and 18.5 points respectively against the Grizzlies.

After these three, the Thunder's scoring ability is even deeper. During the regular season, the Thunder had seven players averaging more than 10.1 points per game. Adelman and the Nuggets have a strong scoring roster that they have to compete with.
