Golden State Warriors backcourt star Brandin Podziemski recently participated in Kay adams podcast show Up & Adams Show. On the show, Podjemski also talked about the trust he gained in the team after joining the Warriors and the direction he needs to improve next.

When talking about the opportunities you get after joining the Warriors, Podjemsky said: It is definitely a gift to be able to get so many opportunities to grow in a team like the Warriors. You should know that in the Warriors system, there are few young players who can get so much tactical space for free to play like me. Therefore, I will never take these opportunities as a matter of course, but at the same time I am very clear about how much effort and training time I have invested in the competition. This is essentially a two-way balance. The team gave me a lot of trust, and I used my efforts to repay the team's trust.

Next, Podjemsky talked about his need to improve his personal technical direction. He continued: I have carefully studied the development trajectory of players who have completed qualitative variation breakthroughs. I found that their number of breakthroughs and number of shots on the outside often increased significantly. Take Shai Gilgeous-Alexander as an example. He has been improving every season, and his breakthrough frequency and three-point shooting are also increasing year by year every season. This can also illustrate some problems: more breakthroughs mean more opportunities to stand on the free throw line, and three-pointers are essentially a more efficient way to score than two points. Therefore, my training focus next is very clear, and I need to study in-depth details of these technical links. How to achieve breakthroughs in these key areas has always been the personal development direction I should continue in the coming time.

In the NBA regular season this season, Pojmsky made a total of 64 appearances in 82 games, averaging 26.8 minutes per game, averaging 11.7 points, 5.1 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 1.1 steals and 0.2 blocks, and 1.2 turnovers and 1.5 fouls, shooting percentage of 44.5%, three-point shooting percentage of 37.2%, and free throw shooting percentage of 75.8%. In the playoffs, Podjemski made a total of 12 appearances, averaging 32.1 minutes per game, averaging 11.3 points, 5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.3 steals and 0.2 blocks, and 1.5 turnovers and 1.5 fouls. His shooting percentage was 36.4%, a three-point shooting percentage of 32.8%, and a free throw shooting percentage of 70.8%. Podjemski's performance during the regular season this season has certain highlights. His offensive efficiency has gradually improved, his scoring ability is pretty good, his passing and organizational performance is pretty good, and his performance on the defensive end is also worthy of recognition. However, in the playoffs, his performance showed a significant decline. Obviously, Podjemsky also needs to make greater progress next season.
