Augsburg official: Signing German Youth international Card from Basel, signing until 2029

Hupu, August 25, Augsburg, Bundesliga, officially announced that 21-year-old German attacker Anton Kade has transferred from Basel, Switzerland to join the team and signed until June 30, 2029. Both parties did not disclose the specific transfer fee.

Kard was born in Berlin and was from Hertha Youth Training in Berlin. He won the runner-up of the German Youth League with Hertha U19 and played in 4 Bundesliga games for the first team. In July 2022, he transferred to the Swiss giant Basel, and during this period he made a total of 107 appearances, scored 13 goals and sent 10 assists, helping the team win the double championship. He is also an international player in the youth teams at all levels in Germany, and has played for the German U20 for the last 6 times.

Augsburg sports director Benny Webber said: "Kard is very suitable for our lineup. He can compete in multiple offensive positions. Although he is young, he has more than 100 official games experience. His abilities will bring us new value."

Card said: "I am very happy to return to Germany. Joining Augsburg is the perfect next step in my career development. I hope to integrate into the team as soon as possible and play a successful season with everyone."

Card will play in the No. 30 jersey in the new season.
