Roman Club confirmed on its official website that it had "parted ways" with their sports director Florent Gisofy after consultation.

The Red Wolves confirmed Gisoft's resignation this Wednesday, but club adviser Claudio Ranieri said on Tuesday that Roma has been looking for a new sports director.

Roma said in a statement on Wednesday: "Roma and technical director Florente Gissophie have agreed to part ways. Over the past year, Florente has shown professionalism and dedication at the critical stage of the club. We appreciate his contribution and wish him good luck in starting a new professional challenge. Thank you, Flo!" The website of Football Italia revealed that former AC Milan director Frederick Masala will replace Gissophie as the new Rome sports director. Turin Sports News pointed out that Juventus intends to hire Gisoft as the new sports director.

On June 19, local time in Italy, Club Rome officially announced that former AC Milan executive Ricci Marsala was appointed as the new sports director, after Florente Gisoft resigned just one year earlier this week.

For Masala, it was a return to work at the Olympic Stadium, after he held several positions with the Red Wolves, including general manager, and as athletic director twice in the 2016-17 and 2018-19 seasons respectively.

Later, Masala went to AC Milan to work, where she served as Milan sports director for four seasons from 2019-2023, helping the Ross and Blacks contribute to the latest Serie A title in the 2021-22 season. At the end of the 2022-23 season, Masala was fired and left Milanello with club legend Paul Maldini.

Then, Masala worked in the Ligue 1 as the director of sports in Rennes in the 2024-25 season. Six years after leaving, he is now back at Club Rome.

Red Wolves welcomed Masala's return on its official website: "Roma is pleased to announce the appointment of Frederick Masala as the club's new sports director. For Masala, this is a return to Trigoria, and he has made professional contributions to the development of sports in Rome at a critical stage in the club's modern history. With his extensive experience in Italian and international football, Masala has a deep understanding and clear understanding of the technical field. Strategic vision. "

" The club is looking forward to this new chapter with confidence, believing that Frederick's leadership will help build a competitive and ambitious future. Welcome back to Rome!" After a week of rumors, the Parma Club officially announced the appointment of 29-year-old Arsenal assistant coach Carlos Questa as their new head coach.

After serving as assistant coach for Gunners coach Mikel Arteta for some time, Questa will take over the Serie A team Parma on July 1, signing a two-year contract until June 2027, with the option to extend it for another year. Questa, 29, has been working for Arsenal in North London for five years and despite his relatively young age, he soon became a key member of the Gunners head coach Arteta's team.

Before working at Arsenal, Questa worked as an assistant coach at Juventus' youth camp for two years, so this would not be his first time coaching in Italy.

Parma issued a statement on its official website saying: "Parma Football Club is pleased to announce that from July 1, Carlos Questa will serve as the head coach of the men's first team. Questa was born on July 29, 1995 in Majorca and has signed a two-year contract until June 30, 2027, with the option to extend one additional season."

"Chairman Kyle J Klaus and the entire Parma Football Family warmly welcome Carlos' arrival. The news meeting was scheduled to be held in the press room of the Tardini Stadium on Thursday afternoon, June 26."
