On November 8, the "Sun" reported that Coventry coach Lampard was almost moved to tears during a recent interview with a reporter and fan.

Lampard has led Coventry to great success this season and currently occupies a favorable position to be promoted to the Premier League. Towards the end of the interview at the Coventry Building Society Stadium, the Chelsea and England legend encountered a true confession from a talkSPORT reporter.

The reporter admitted frankly: "I am actually a native of Coventry, Frank. The changes you have brought to this team are unprecedented in my experience. Whether the people here are at home, on expeditions or in the bar... the scene you have created is indeed extraordinary."

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart." I wish you all the best for the rest of the season."

Lampard was deeply touched by these words and gave a sincere response: "Thank you very much. Your compliment just now is very touching. Although we have achieved some results, the situation is improving at this stage. The White fans are satisfied with this."

"But when you tell the story personally, the atmosphere in the bar, the reaction in the city...these are often details that are easily overlooked when we are closed in the rhythm of the game. We just try our best to win every game."

"So when I am sincerely grateful when you describe such a huge influence on the team, and I will continue to work hard, live up to expectations, and insist on making the right decisions."

Lampard caused controversy when he took over as Coventry coach last November because his previous experiences in coaching Chelsea and Everton in the Premier League did not meet expectations. This time he is coaching in a more difficult environment, as his predecessor, Mark Robbins, has become a beloved local figure in his seven years at the helm.

But now Lampard is creating a perfect record. Coventry is currently at the top of the British Championship. It has only suffered one defeat in 14 league rounds this season and scored an astonishing 39 goals.
