Lautaro wrote to Nerrazuri: Please accept my apology, I failed to realize our common dream

June 5th, Inter Milan defeated Paris in the Champions League final by 5 goals, and had no choice but to swallow the bitterness of the four big ones this season. Inter Milan captain Lautaro updated his social media post to apologize to the blue and black fans. His words were sincere and touching.

Lautaro social media wrote:

Dear Nerazzurri family members:

The Champions League final has ended for a few days, and I am still deeply trapped in indigested sadness, disappointment and pain. I am writing at this moment because these emotions require time to settle down.

First of all, please accept my apology: I have failed to realize our common dream for you.

However, I would like to thank you more sincerely: whether it is the expedition to Munich, the watchful eyes of San Siro, or the blue and black fans scattered all over the world, you are always unique.

The football world judges heroes by trophy, which is irrefutable! But please believe that this glory forged with sacrifice is also of great significance to the Champions League final twice in three years. We strive to continue the legend and to replicate the eternal night like April 22 (winning the Serie A championship five rounds ahead of schedule on April 22, 2024)!
