May 8th local time, Frankfurt officially announced a one-year contract extension with 35-year-old veteran Chandler.

Candler's contract originally expired after this season. Frankfurt officially announced that the two sides have renewed their contract for one year and the new contract will end after the 25/26 season.

The right-back joined Frankfurt youth training camp at the age of 10 and played for all levels of the club. He transferred to Nuremberg in 2010 and returned to the Main River in 2014. The fan darling has played 198 times for Frankfurt (10 goals and 17 assists) and has won the German Cup and Europa League with the team.

Chandler said: "Everyone knows what Frankfurt means to me. I love being here every day and giving all my strength to this club. I am very happy to be renewed and continue to play in this Eagle jersey next season."

Sports Director Klescher said: "Chandler has a very high importance in Frankfurt, which he has worked hard for many years. He is still an important player for us - both on and off the court. Especially for our young players, he is a valuable contact every day. Therefore, we are glad that Timmy will remain with us next season."
