Brentford is willing to sell the Dutch international, but hopes to sell for close to €13 million and will not release the person once a replacement is found. Currently, they are interested in Liverpool's Kelleher. Kelleher is 26 years old and has a valuation of about £20 million, with only the last year left in the contract.

Fleken is about to be 32 years old this year. He joined Brentford for £11.2 million from Freiburg in May 2023, maintaining 14 clean sheets in 74 league games. Despite his mistakes in his first season, he improved in his second season. He missed only one game this season due to injury, helping the team eventually rank 10th.

Fleken started his career at the JC Youth Training Camp in the Netherlands, but spent most of his time in Germany, including Freiburg, Duisburg, Fert and Aachen, and Leverkusen did not comment on the matter.
