The past few months have been particularly difficult for me, both physically and personally. Like any player, my only priority has always been to return to the field as soon as possible after an injury, which is entirely out of my desire to help the team and do what I love most—competition.

There have been a lot of comments about me over the past few weeks, some of which are completely unfounded. Therefore, I feel it is necessary to express my opinion on the facts in a respectful but clear manner.

's decision to undergo surgery was made after discussion with medical experts and full approval from the club, and always aims to prioritize my long-term health and career. Of course, this goal is exactly the same as the goal of FC Barcelona, which is to recover as soon as possible so as to continue fighting for the championship. In addition, I also publicly announced the shortest recovery period I need, a time that is informed by the most authoritative experts and always coordinated with the club.

I also want to clarify—for some speculation—all signings and renewals at the club were done before my surgery, so I never thought that my unfortunate situation and the new surgery I had to do would become a necessary condition for registering other teammates. Those teammates are people I deeply respect, and we have always longed to share our time in the locker room together. Any other interpretation seems neither fair nor accurate to me.

Throughout my career, I have been working hard to face the team logo I represent with professionalism, respect and responsibility. I have a deep affection for Club Barcelona, the city and the fans who have supported me for many years. My commitment to these colors is still 100%.

I understand that difficult times can bring tension, but I believe that through dialogue and responsibility, we can solve this problem in a constructive way. I am totally willing to work with the club management to resolve this matter and facilitate the required permissions.
