Vassell said in an interview that Ferrari has been faster in the main race than qualifying in the last three or four games. Leclerc's qualifying best result in the 2025 season was third, while Hamilton's best starting position in the Grand Prix was only fifth.

After the end of Emilia Romagna Station, Hamilton said: We have always performed strongly in Monaco in the past. If the team can learn from last week's race, especially to improve tire performance accordingly, I believe Ferrari can achieve another good result in Monaco Station.

The FIA ​​World Motorsport Council approved the proposal to implement a mandatory two-stop strategy at the Monaco Grand Prix at the end of February this year. The main purpose of its adoption is to "improve the viewing of the event." As the defending champion, Leclerc disagreed with this: the two stops will not have a very big impact on the race, because the difficulty of overtaking on the Monaco track has not changed, and whether you can get a good ranking still depends on the team's strategy.
