Halliburton: There is no shortcut to defeating the Thunder, any doubts are motivation for me

Pacers star Halliburton attended the press conference before the finals and was interviewed by the media and talked about the current preparations.

When talking about how I felt when playing for a small-scale team like the Pacers, Halliburton said: "I love Indiana. For me and my family, Indiana is a warm place, and now our family lives there. I don't need the glitz and glamour of big cities. Our home advantage is special because the people here really love the team, and their parents have been like this. This home atmosphere is different from that of big cities, which is why I enjoy being part of the Pacers and wanting to stay here for my career. I really like wearing the Pacers jersey."

When talking about the team's mentality of entering the NBA Finals, Halliburton said : "We know the road ahead is difficult, but the whole team is looking forward to the challenge."

Regarding the Thunder, Halliburton said: "I don't want to bypass or surpass them. I want to beat them head-on. If you want to be a champion, you have to go over the strongest team and meet the biggest challenge. The Thunder are the best team in the NBA, and there is no shortcut to defeat them."

When asked when they will no longer be motivated by doubters, Halliburton responded: "I have never stopped, nor will it stop. Any doubts are motivation for me. I like to hear these voices because I know who I am. Those extra doubts are always the fuel to help me move forward."
