According to TNTSports reporter Monique Danelo, Brazilian coach Ancelotti has included the Vasco core, wearing the No. 10 jersey, in the preliminary list of the Brazilian national team to prepare for the friendly matches against Senegal and Tunisia during the November international match.

The last time Coutinho was selected for the national team was back in June 2022, when the coach was Tite. He participated in the warm-up matches against South Korea and Japan before the World Cup and scored a goal in the 5-1 victory over South Korea.

Now, after more than two years, Coutinho has once again attracted attention with his highlight performance in Vasco. Under head coach Fernando Dinis, he has become one of the team's technical leaders.
