Girona official: Signing left-back Moreno from Villa, contract until 2027

Hupu, August 22, Girona Club officially announced that left-back Alles Moreno was introduced from Aston Villa, and the two sides signed a contract for two years, with the contract period until June 2027.

32-year-old Moreno was born in San Sadurni Danoa, Catalonia. He debuted at the Villafranca youth training and then entered the Barcelona youth training system. In the 2012/13 season, he played for Lagostella and completed his debut in the B-Segment B; in 2014, he joined Majorca and made his first appearance in the Segment B-Segment. After that, he played for Vallecano (having a firm foothold in La Liga and becoming one of the most stable full-backs) and Real Betis (playing more than 120 times and making his debut in the European game).

In January 2023, Moreno entered the Premier League to join Aston Villa, played for two seasons under Emery, and participated in European competitions. Last season, he was loaned to Nottingham Forest.

Moreno is known for his speed, fine technology and ability to create offensive opportunities. He is good at one-on-one breakthroughs and crosses, with great threats on the wing, and can also provide solid support on the defensive end, with excellent data in steals and interceptions.
